Peyote Rabbit Bead Weaving Tutorial

A Peyote Rabbit head against a white background and some text

I am going to keep this quick and simple today because I really want to get this project out in time for Easter and well, that’s tomorrow! Seriously though, this Peyote Rabbit Tutorial is cute all year round and if you are anything like me, it doesn’t have to be a certain season to enjoy beading (I will literally bead Christmas projects in the middle of summer).

This is a small beading project so perfect if you are looking for a quick and easy make. The trickiest bit is the ears but once you’ve one, on the second is pretty easy.

I have made a pdf pattern for you to download (lined below with the list of beads) to accompany the video but I do show every steps so it is not essential for you to have it in order to enjoy beading the project.

Peyote Rabbit Bead Weaving – Gathering The Supplies

To get started on your Peyote rabbit you will need a few basic supplies :

Here is the pdf pattern for you to download if you wish –

For this project I have use size 11 Delica beads in

  • Opaque White (DB200)
  • Opaque Black (DB010)
  • Lined Crystal Medium Pink (DB245) (for the cheeks)

You will also need some beading thread and a beading needle. I use Wildfire thread as it is my absolute favorite.

If this has got you in the mood for cute rabbits then I would love you to check out my Peyote Triangle Rabbits with Flowers Pattern on Etsy. It takes that fun bunny face that little bit further.
