Festive Holly Peyote Triangle: A Free Video Tutorial

A beaded peyote triangle with holly design.

I have had a little (unintentional) break from YouTube over the last year or so but I am determined that 2026 is going to be a creative and productive year. I am hoping to start off strong, and early, with this video tutorial for a holly peyote triangle.

I adore making peyote triangles and the shape of them lent themselves perfectly to this sweet and simple holly design.

I will aim to keep this short as Christmas is busy enough without having to scroll for hours to find the tutorial!

Beads and Supplies

These are the beads I have used and I am listing them as suggestion colours. Always have a good rummage through your beading stash to see if you have anything similar. I do love the balance between those sparkly green beads alongside the opaque green ones though.

  • Delica size 11 Opaque White (DB200)
  • Delica size 11 Silver Lined Red (DB602)
  • Delica size 11 Opaque Pea Green (DB724)
  • Delica size 11 Silver Lined Emerald (DB605)

I have also used –

  • Beading thread
  • A beading needle
  • 2 x wire guardians ( to add a loop for earring wires so these are optional)
  • 2 x earring wires
  • Bead Pattern

How To Use Your Holly Peyote Triangles

There are a few ways that you could use these to add a handmade festive flair to you Christmas. I have made mine into earrings. If you are short on time or just want to make one then you could add some thread or ribbon to the top and hang it on your Christmas tree. It could also be used alongside a gift tag on a special gift.

If you have plenty of time and wish to make quite a few then they could be strung together to make a little bunting garland. Dot some fairly lights along the way to make it even cuter and festive.
