I've been feeling quite blah about my posting to Instagram recently. I used to have so much fun with it but I'm lucky these days if only a handful of people see my posts. I'm guessing it's the change in algorithm that I've seen mentioned but it could just be that my pictures aren't pretty enough! . I ended up on Google to see if it could shed some light and the answer was that I needed to curate my grid somehow so that everything thing was cohesive and visually pleasing at a quick glance. Also, post consistently with only a few well chosen # and research before posting to see which # would be best. That, my friends, seems like an awful lot of work. . So here I am, with an oil pastel impromptu sketch book page, trying to have fun with Instagram. It's not jewellery related in the slightest and will no doubt throw all (if I had any to start with) aesthetics of my grid out the Instagram window! I pushed myself with this jewellery collection to step out of my dainty comfort zone. I also watch a lot of the great British bake off so I think this necklace is very inspired by Prue Leith.
