I made a lot of jewellery before Christmas that were altogether more complicated than my usual makes. I learned new bead weaving stitches, I spent hours playing with clay to make new beads and I had a blast but sometimes I come back to the idea of clean and simple especially when I am a little short on inspiration. Whilst tidying up my beads the other week I found some crystals left over from Christmas projects and I love nothing more than sparkly beads. I decided to let these beads be the centre piece to show them off to their best.
I think the green sparkles look lovely with the gold chain and I love how fresh the turquoise and clear beads look – perfect for jumping into spring.

Ohhh Hannah, these are incredible! I LOVE THEM ALL.
I did my usual thing of trying to pick a favourite, and as each photograph arrived in view (as I scrolled), I said: “Aw… I love that one”. then the next … “Oh, now that one really is beautiful!” … then the next “Ohh this has to be my favourite” .. and so on and so on.
I *think* I like the necklace which is second from bottom photo. But I like the blue one big time too. But then… that very first chain and twinkly clear crystals is very me… so maybe that’s the one I should choose. And yet … I really do like that last one.
It’s a good job I’m not stood at your craft stall at a craft market somewhere, because you’d end up telling me to push off! LOL.
I love them all, but I don’t know which one I’d choose to buy because I’d want them all.
I hope that you’re going to sell these Hannah, because they’re far too beautiful to not send them out into the world.

I hope that link works. I need to figure out how to make a permanent link on my blog but that could be hours of work for me 😀 I more often figure these things out by accident rather than understand how it works!
To put something in your side bar (over to the right), first find the Etsy picture which you can use as the clickable picture, and save it to your computer somewhere you can find it again. Then load that picture into your media files on your blog. (where you save all your piccies).
Then, once it’s loaded into your media pictures on W.press, click on it and it will open in a window and over to the right it will show you the link to the picture. Leave that window open, but open another window and get up your blog in that new window.
Next: Click on ‘My Site’, and look right down at the bottom of the window which will open, and choose ‘WP Admin’.
Scroll down the grey bar over to the left, and find ‘Appearance’ (it will have a paint brush next to it). And hover your cursor over Appearance.
Another window will open up. Move your cursor onto that window and choose ‘Widgets’.
From there it’s pretty straight forward.
What you’re doing is adding a picture to your sidebar (probably your RIGHT hand sidebar).
Scroll down till you find ‘IMAGE’. Choose that, and it will ask you where you want to put it … choose the right side bar.
It will move to the bottom of that list over to the right, and you’ll have to find it. Once found, click on it.
Then you simply go back to the other page which you left open, and pick up the link to that Etsy picture, and post the link into that place you just made on the right bar of your blog.
THEN … you need to (on yet another new page) go to your Etsy. Make sure the page loads on your main Etsy front page. Then copy the link to your Etsy.
Take that link back to the ‘widgets’ page you were working on a moment ago, and in that same little window you just posted the link to the Etsy picture, and scroll down (what seems like a long way) on that little window. You’re looking for ‘Link URL’.
In the box there, under Link URL, paste the link to your Etsy.
What this is doing is making sure that the picture of ‘Etsy’ which will show up on your side bar, will actually link straight to your Etsy page! Clever, eh? lol
If you want to, you can put some description: eg: Link to My Etsy Shop: or that sort of thing … by scrolling back up to the top of that little window, and finding ‘Widget Title’. In that section you just type what you want it to say above the Etsy picture.
Once you’re done, scroll down to the bottom of that little window and click ‘Save’, and it will then become live on your blog!
Open your blog in another new window (keeping the widgets page open for a moment) … and once it loads you’ll be able to check what your new bit of computer wizardy looks like. If you’re happy with it, then you can close your other windows.
You can delete this huge message if you like, once you’ve done what you need to do. I won’t be upset that it’s disappeared. LOL.
