Color Throwdown – Watercolour Roses

This weeks colours for the Color Throwdown CTD 384 gave me the perfect opportunity to try my hand again at my Kanban roses stamp. During the 30 Day Colouring Challenge I coloured the same rose stamp once with Polychromos pencils and again with Promarkers with the intention to colour/paint it again with watercolours. I enjoy doing this as I’m always intrigued how different the image will look with the different mediums. If you wish to see the Polychromos and Promarker images then check out this blog post.

Watercolour roses. Kanban stamp, Windsor and Newton Cotman watercolour paints.

The colours for the challenge are lavender, red and green. To include the lavender I added purple splatters of paint and stamped the birthday sentiment onto a piece of watercolour card painted with the same purple paint.

Hope you are all having a good weekend.
