A little catch up……

It seems an age since I last wrote a blog post. In all honesty I haven’t had much new to show as I ended up making more Leopard print jewellery for my Etsy shop and I don’t want to get too boring by showing the same thing over and over. I always underestimate how long it takes me to make the polymer clay jewellery.

I do have a few little new bits to show now though and some pretty cool news.

First up was a little experiment with a terrazzo style earring. I was feeling enthused with the hint of Spring and wanted some earrings that would work well in the Spring/Summer months.

I made a few pairs of these so I have one and the rest are in my Etsy shop.

As you will see in a minute I am still spending many hours with Leopard print one way or another. I did a quick leopard print heart doodle with some new Posca pens back in February and thought it would look great in my Redbubble shop.

It was re-drawn using Promarkers in a bigger format.

I thought it easier to show in a Redbubble mock up to give a better idea for what I was going for. I am tempted to buy it on a mug for myself.

Last up, before I remember anything else, is the exciting news bit – I was asked by Beads Direct if I would like to write a beading tutorial for them. I had to use their products and it had to be an animal print. What else would I do? Yup, it was always going to be leopard print.
