I’m back! I had a little (unintentional) blog break, ie, I haven’t had much time to make anything. I’ve been popping on to catch up on what everyone else has been up to but getting the kids ready for back to school has been a bit of a marathon (if I see another name label I may cry). My son started school this week and I have to say I’m rather proud of how well he has done. I have been asked so many countless times what I will do with so much free time now that both kids are in school, well the answer, it seems, is to sit staring at my craft table with my mind blank! I decided that if inspiration had left me that I would just try out my bead loom again to try to get the hang of it. It’s getting easier but I still need more time to figure out how to finish it properly. The results are wearable (phew, so far, no beads spilling all over the floor) and pretty.
I love the one with the turquoise/red/gold beads (arrow pattern) but I made it a little long for me to wear however it looks great on my Sister. I’m already pondering my next bead loom make. It really is an addictive craft!
They look great!
