I’ve been a little slow posting on her over the last week. The kids have been off school on their half term holiday so I have been busy baking cakes and playing games. I have however made sure I still had time to do my colouring so I could continue with the 30 day colouring challenge over at The Daily Marker.
Besides the most amazing sponge cake my kids made this week, the absolute highlight of my week has to be that my work was shown on The Daily Marker blog in a weekly round up of some of the challenge contributions. If you would like to see my claim to fame and check out some other gorgeous work click here. My photo is the first picture under the heading ‘Flowers I Can’t Get Enough Of’.
I’m still smiling I’m so delighted.
I have shared all my photos on my Instagram account but thought I’d share some of this weeks projects here as well.
All these cards involve stamping but coloured with a variety of mediums. The roses stamp is an old Kanban stamp coloured with Promarkers and Polychromos, the girl images are ‘Gorjuss Girl’ stamps which I have added a background to and coloured with watercolour pencils and the ‘Hello Friend’ card has stamped images repeatedly stamped and heat embossed in gold and then painted with watercolours. The ‘hello friend’ is a stampers anonymous/Tim Holtz sentiment from the simple saying stamp set.

Happy crafting

Love all the pieces, and especially the pattern on the card!

Thank you 😀
I love how different your style is from image to image. That rose stamp is just gorgeous!
Thank you. I’m rather fond of that rose stamp too. I’m always tempted to colour in again in different colour combinations. Hannah x
