Inktober Day 11

October 11, 2018 The Artisan Duck2 Comments

Oh dear, I feel as though my inktober drawings are going reallllly downhill. Last week I put so much time into them but this week I’m having to rush a little more as I have quite a few other things to do. Today’s prompt is cruel and I was just getting nowhere with it. My… Continue reading Inktober Day 11

Inktober Day 10

October 10, 2018 The Artisan Duck12 Comments

I feel as though I’ve redeemed myself after yesterday’s awful picture. Not that this is a masterpiece but I feel a lot happier with it. The prompt was flowing so I have drawn long flowing hair. I have an ink brush pen – I love drawing hair with it. I have added some grey promarker… Continue reading Inktober Day 10

Inktober Day 8

October 8, 2018 The Artisan Duck7 Comments

I’m still going with Inktober πŸ˜ƒ Today’s prompt is ‘star’. I couldn’t think how to make a drawing of an actual star interesting so I decided on a different track and drew a performer/celebrity/star. No one in particular but another great challenge in drawing people. One day I’ll look at body proportions but for now… Continue reading Inktober Day 8

Inktober Day 6 & 7

October 7, 2018 The Artisan Duck23 Comments

I thought I’d post both drawings from this weekend in the same post. Neither are particular great or inspired but I haven’t given up either so I’m giving myself credit for that! Day 6 prompt was drooling. I mean honestly, why, just why?! Day 7 (today) was exhausted. I feel there may be some irony… Continue reading Inktober Day 6 & 7

Pack an Etsy order with me πŸ˜€ There was supposed to be audio with this (I recorded it and everything) but once it posted it was gone πŸ€” These things confuse me so much. Anyone else?
My phone reminded me that it’s been a year since I made these butterfly pendants so here is a little video of how I made them.
Lovely Aventurine and gold start polymer clay earrings in my Etsy shop. Aventurine is thought to promote wellbeing and emotional calm. I love its minty green colour.
Happy Easter and a very Happy Sunday to those who don't celebrate it. Either way I hope you all have a lovely, possibly chocolate filled, day.
I've spent the best part of two days working on this polymer clay slab and it's just too pretty to cut into. Fingers crossed you can all tell what fruit this is! 🀞 πŸ˜‚
