It was my wedding anniversary a week ago. My husband and I are not really the lovey dovey types but after both of us forgot our anniversary last year (we were totally baffled why my mother-in-law had sent us a card!) we decided to make a point of celebrating it. Yep, an excuse to spend endless hours at my craft table 🙂
My husband really likes ducks, birds etc so I drew these two love birds and coloured them with ProMarkers. I couldn’t quite get the sky to blend and I hate having to figure out shadows but none of that matters when hubby says its the best card I’ve made him.

Oh thank you – nobody has ever called me talented before 🙂 We had a lovely time thanks. I too am married to my best friend. He just totally understands me no question and even puts up with me taking over best part of a room to stash all my craft stuff. Happy anniversary for October!
