I’m back with more doodles for the 52 Week Illustration Challenge.
Week 19 – Music
This made me think of the many hours spent at toddler music groups with my kids. Always one of my favourite activities with them.
Week 21 – Red
I had fun just playing with watercolours this week – red ones if course although the scanned image make them look pink but I still like them.
As you may have noticed week 20 is missing. It’s been added to the list still to do!

I love the colours you’ve chosen. They’re kind of vibrant, but at the same time they’re ‘childrens’ style colours. fabulous.
The feathers …. are brilliant! They’d look lovely made into a dreamcatcher, teamed with some sympathetic colours.

Hello, thank you Cobs. I am particularly fond of the feathers. Such a simple technique but I had a lot of fun experimenting. They too made me think of dreamcatchers – so much so that I now fancy trying to paint one.

I really like the feathers! It’s a nice twist on the very open, and often predictable, prompt of ‘red’.
Thank you. I was a little worried when I saw the prompt ‘red’ as it really didn’t spark much other than the more predictable ideas. The feathers just happened – I keep meaning to try them in different colours now 🙂 Hannah x
