Inktober Day 3

Hmmmmmm, I nearly didn’t post as I really dislike my picture but what if I manage the whole month and kick myself because my nasty marshmallow is missing! 😆

Day 3 prompt was ‘roasted’ so I drew a marshmallow that I roasted whilst on holiday.

It was a tasty marshmallow and it has been years since I’ve actually toasted one in a fire. Unfortunately the holiday was up there with being one of the worst ever and I really didn’t think that was possible!!!

I’m looking forward to today’s prompt so really hoping I can find some time to draw something I’m pleased with.

      1. I guess that’s part of the joy… Figuring out what you’d like to draw more of and what you never want to do again. I don’t think I’ll ever want to draw a roast chicken again but I’m kind of glad I’ve had a go 😊🍗

  1. hahaha I love this drawing though XD Reminds me of a lot of good times roasting marsmallows with my friends. Slightly burned always tastes better in my opinion. Sorry to hear your holliday wasn’t good though 😦

    1. Thank you. Oh yes, they have to be slightly burnt. They taste so much better and the inside just gets more gooey. I could write a whole blog post on the holiday disasters we’ve had over the years. Think I’ve decided I’m never going away with my kids ever again!!! 😆

      1. Hahaha you should write it for entertainment purposes. I would read that and in that case at least people will have some fun out of your misfortunes

      2. Maybe but the details from this year may turn some people’s stomachs! It involved a 20 minute walk to a pub, my 7 year old son being sick repeatedly all over him and me and a 20 minute walk back with vomit squelching in my shoes…… Another time a mirror fell off the wall in the holiday home bursting my then 2 year olds toe open. We spend days in A&E having his foot redressed as he kept pulling it off. There was also the time my son jumped and bashed my daughter’s semi wobbly tooth leaving it at an horrific angle. It was late at night so guess who sat up all night trying to get the tooth out (hint, my husband slept soundly that night). I really could go on!!!!! 😆

  2. I love it Hannah. Although, before I read the post, and just looking at the ink drawing, I at first thought it was a drawing of a piece of arty glass, and was hoping that you’d post a picture of the real thing so that I could experience the reality too.
But .. a marshmallow! Ohhh it’s BRILLIANT! Well done you clever thing. It’s ahhhmazing. Love it. ~ Cobs. xxx

  3. Haven’t had one in years….maybe this time I will . Still too hot for a camp fire but surely cooler temps are out there some where. Your rendering isvery well done and makes me think of doing thr roasting thing.
