My word, I’m almost too embarrassed by this drawing to show it but I really don’t want to miss a day of Inktober if I can at all help it.
Today’s prompt is precious so I figured I’d draw a semi-precious crystal. This was far harder than I anticipated. I’m a little short on time today so rushed a little but even so the points looks more like wonky houses!
To make matters worse how ever many times I photograph this it keeps coming out blurry. I’m calling it done and looking forward to trying again tomorrow.
Onwards and upwards!!! š

Well done for even attempting to draw crystal… That’s a huge challenge. Ok, they may not look exactly how you wanted them to, but they do make really interesting patterns and shades, so I still think they look cool. Well done for not giving up, and for sharing your work, drawing buddy š
Thank you. I think I was a little over confident with this as I’ve done watercolour crystals before and the results weren’t awful. There is always tomorrow…..
Lol… Though I have no ideas for flowing!
Sometimes I create stuff I am embarrassed by and then that stuff will be the first to sell! Many times I have debated about even listing certain artworks for sale because I think they suck, but those often sell faster than the ones I think are genius lol.
It’s funny isn’t it?! We are our own worst enemy. I will often class something as rubbish and my husband will tell me how good it is. Things I am super excited to list on Etsy often just sit there and get hardly any views š¤·āāļø
Yeah, go figure lol. Maybe our judgment of our own work is simply biased.
I actually like they look like tiny houses. š
Ha ha, thank you š
We’re all our worst critics. You’re not alone.
Great drawing … crystal or houses. LOL. ~ C. xxx
Ha ha, yes. They are far more convincing as wonky houses than crystals!
