Button Birthday and Sad News

I’m not going to lie – things have been tough round here for the last few weeks. For those that read my last blog post you will know that my son has been very unwell (if you want to read my last post you can click here), we have attended a funeral for my husband’s remarkable Uncle and this week, after a few weeks of illness, we had to say goodbye to my lovely cat, Pickles.

She was so gentle and calm and a real member of family life. She will be missed. R.I.P Pickles.

Crafting wise I have been a little slow and decided in the end that I needed to go through my stash of crafty goodness to have a bit of a sort out. Life has a nasty habit of zapping my crafting mojo but a good tidy and declutter helps to restore order to my brain. I still have so much stuff but feel more inclined now to sit and craft rather than what I have been doing – watching Netflix at my craft desk and snoozing!

My friend had a birthday last weekend so I put together a quick simple card.

I have so many buttons and was determined to find a use for them. The card is pretty self explanatory and the greeting is from a Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Simple Saying stamp set.

As ever, thank you for stopping by.

Hannah
