Well, the kids are on holiday and we’ve had fun doing various activities and playdates but the weather isn’t altogether summery. Today we decided on an easy walk to the shops but the smallest suggestion of rain and thunder put a stop to any plans. The kids are terrified of thunder so refused to get dressed (they know this means I can’t get them to leave the house). To prevent them from spending all morning watching You Tube and playing Minecraft I went to my usual distraction of crafting, more specifically today, my stash of beads. We chose to make hanging hearts –
They opted for my selection of pearls(!) and got to work. No prizes for guessing which one is my son’s and which is my daughter’s. They had fun. We waited for the thunder and rain and yup, it never happened!
